It is fairly common and somewhat unnerving to get dressed in the morning and feel as though you are generic. It is normal to become bored with the same old clothing and fashion accessories, but it is not always easy to change your wardrobe. That is why I love designing jewelry. Jewelry is one of the best ways to add personality to an outfit and make it feel like your own. Brooches and pins allow you to update everything from a sweater to a handbag without spending a lot of money. Pins are a great jewelry investment because they are versatile and definitely a fashion staple. Throw a brooch onto your favorite hat or scarf for an instant lift to your outfit. Many of my brooches come with an enhancer on the back so you can easily turn it into a statement necklace.
I am thrilled to be running our “Passionate for Pins” Sale. I designed an exclusive brooch collection just for the website and they are flying out the door!
Since we are so passionate for pins, I want to share 11 unique ways to style your brooch – some ideas are straight from the stars.
Go traditional and pin your brooch onto your favorite tailored jacket. I love how my “Captivating Couture” brooch looks on this classic Chanel jacket.
Sarah Jessica Parker made this asymmetrical choker with a vintage brooch. We think it’s polished and perfect. It looks just like my “Smoky Elegance” Pin.
Many of my pins have enhancers on the back so you can make them into a necklace. We paired my “Premiere Impressions” pin onto a strand of pearls.
We love these jewel tones velvet clutches from Anthropologie. Pop our “Baguette Rose” Black Diamond pin onto one for a completely unique look.
Blake Lively shows us how to wear your critter brooch front and center. Get my “En Tremblant Dragonfly” pin here.
I adore Nicole Kidman’s take on pinning her brooch at the back of her dress for the ulimate sexy look. My “Best in Bows” crystal pin would look amazing on the back of a dress.
Gwen Stefani rocks a large crystal flower pin above her left ear. Our “Rose Elegance” brooch is the perfect hair piece.
Katherine Heigel shows us that securing a scarf with a colorful pin can be simple and easy. My “Belgium Disc” pin is perfect for pairing with large cozy scarves.
I am very obsessed with how this style blogger styled her vintage brooches, and Carmen Electra’s black beret is super chic. My “Ice Crystal” pin looks incredible on a knitted hat or large felt winter hat this season.
Mischa Barton strategically places a brooch on her bodice for a touch of sparkle and accentuating her cleavage. Our “Tasteful and Timeless” pin would make a great addition to your dress.
I love this picture of Princess Elizabeth with her newborn son Prince Charles, sporting a ribbon pin similar to my “Whimsical Floral” crystal pin.
